I became aware of Vasile Mosanu through his expertise in creating and executing works of art in stained glass, fused, leaded and painted. His expertise in this medium is surpassed by few if any. Vasile’s true creative talent and expression becomes evident when he works in oils or acrylics on canvas. Here, he is one of this centuries truly great talents. We are currently in possession of two pieces of Vasile‘s work, Helena and Mirra, both of these pieces are so complex with expression that words cannot do them justice, nor adequately describe them. Each one of Vasile’s creations runs deep, with layer upon layer of light and image often not discovered until viewed over a period of time and under various lighting conditions. He paints channelling light and images gifted to him by the universe, for him to bring to life in the physical world. He is beyond doubt one of our worlds creative masters.
